The motor tracks quite well, and will keep the field of view steady for several minutes. Keep in mind, once it is installed you cannot use manual RA slow motion control. The batteries last forever (or at least it seems like they do).

Best price and excellent customer service

I ordered this motor for my Astromaster telescope and it was at my front door the next day. It installed without any problem and after installing a 9v battery, it worked perfectly. No complaints, no issues an 100% satisfied with my purchase,

question

Does it keep the object in frame for long periods of timefor astrophotography? if not how long does it keep perfectly centered for? and it is compatible with the Celestron Astromaster 130 EQ?
Asked by: Kitt P.
It (or any other drive) is only as accurate as your polar alignment. The tracking speed is adjustable and requires a lot of attention to match earth rotation. This item is great for amateur stargazers, but serious astrophotography, forget it.
