As long as the width of your actual glass lens is 62mm then the hood should fit correctly. If you have a filter on your lens then the width of the filter would match.

No, this will not work on the 18-55mm. This is for a 67mm lens and the 18-55mm is I think either 52mm or 58mm. See what size filter that lens uses and find a hood that is meant for a similar sized lens. I think either the 35mm f1.8 or the 50mm f1.8 will have a similar size, check on those hoods.
