    014-14 Rapid Adapter - 5/8" Stud to 1/4-20" Thread is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy piece of grip equipment I own two of these and use them on Bogen 2-section articulated swivel arms to put Nikon speedlights in some otherwise awkward spaces. On top of the rapid adaptors, I put mini-ball heads and on top of that I screw in the Nikon speedlight stands that came with my SB-800s. And I put the whole shebang (articulated swivel arm with rapid adaptor and mini-ball head) on a Bogen super clamp. This is a great way to mount a flash in a space that's too tight for a light stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing It is a great tool used to connect a pocket wizard to the bottom of the camera! Also must purchase a 118 Universal Short Spigot with Double Male Thread to connect to pocket wizard!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't complain What can you say about it. I lightens nicely and does it's job. It was purchased to mount to the end of a grip arm for a shockmount.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy Alternative To It's Big Brother I bought a pair of these prior to 3/8 thread adapter. I needed it to mount crossbar brackets to my c-stands but I didn't feel that the 1/4 20 thread would within too much weight. I would have returned the items to B&H had I not found other uses for these guys. These work great with mounting smaller LED lights or a slyder dolly to basic light stands with the standard 5/8 stud. I am sure I will think of other uses down the line. My only worry is that if I do need them on-location somewhere that I don't leave them at the studio by accident.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bolt snapped within minutes The concept of this piece of equipment is great, but I think we must've gotten a dud. We intended to use 2 of these to mount a slider to 2 light stands, but before we could even get it tightened on the light stand the bolt snapped in half. I believe the slider was well within the weight limit. We'll send it back in and try again with a 3/8 thread.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small and to the point :) This little unit is simply a good little piece. Strongly built. The shaft and nut would be nice if they were a little thicker because I was a little afraid it might break off with my Beauty dish attached but I just backed it up with 2 fender washers and it seems to hold perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 014-14 Rapid Adapter - 5/8 Stud to 1/4- Very usefull on the bottom of a Norman 200B, or Lumydine type of flash head. In fact usefull where there is a 1/4x20 female thread and you need to mount the object via a stud to something like a supper clamp or an umbrella swivel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I bought two of these to replace the ones on my Smith-Victor 720SG lights and I am not disappointed! The are solid and easier to remove than the original item. If you need something like this, I highly recommend this product!
