This Manfrotto 153 Adapter enables more secure mounting of a Mole Richardson Baby series fixture to the top of a stand that has a standard 5/8" top stud. Its unique indentations mesh perfectly with the locking screw of the Mole fixture. It is 3.46" (8.8 cm) long.

This does exactly what I needed it to do. My light stand connection was jut a fraction too small and that made my light wobble. Now everything is tight and secure.
After decades of being used to the standard 5/8 Manfrotto pin I discovered a Matthews Baby Pin. I bought this adapter to make all of my Manfrotto stands be able to use booms which require a 5/8 baby pin. You do need a Manfrotto 119 Short Adapter Spigot to screw on to the standard Manfrotto pin found on most of theor lightstands. Luckily I had one laying around.
