How long is the upper part, that is, the part above the wide section that has the screw lock? I'm looking for something that will allow my Matthews Hollywood arm to sit on my Manfrotto light stands more securely (i.e., sit on a stud long enough to use the whole length of the mounting hole in the Hollywood arm. B&H # MAHWHA40B. The other studs I've tried won't allow the hole in the arm to go fully down onto the mounting stud on the light stand.
I measured 1 15/16 inches.
