    Manfrotto 368B reviews

    368B Basic Black Light Stand - 11' (3.3m) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap but durable Tall, lightweight, and durable. Great travel gears. Must be secured with sandbags or other gears. Does not fold as easy as my other expensive Bogen stands, but @ 1/2 the price, and light enough to carry anywhere, well worth it. Watch your hardwood floor, or go to ... and get some of the rubber feet for it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works fine I was just looking for a couple of inexpensive, yet quality stands. I was a couple short for a full light setup with flags, and wanted something that wouldn't be too heavy, yet give me some height. They're not quite as good as my other stands, but they're also about 40% the price. I was not disappointed with these at all. These are perfect for what I wanted. A good value indeed. They did lose one star because the bottom leg attachment doesn't have a release. That's probably a cost saving, so not really a big deal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Basic Light Stand by Manfrotto This is a design that has been duplicated by many various manufacturers. BUY THIS ONE! The few dollars you'll pay extra for a Manfrotto will be worth it to you over the long haul. The quality of workmanship and durability will make up for the higher cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Made Great value. Well made and sturdy I use this indoors to support compact flashes and reflectors. Not as portable as some as it is heavier which makes for a better support i.e. I don't worry about it falling over.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reliable, Well made, but light Use the lightstands to hold my Lowel Tota Lights. Seems to be the same build quality as the old models from 10 years ago....and that's a good thing! You do need to either tape them or weight them down though

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent lightweight stand. Excellent stand, highly recommended. Lightweight but sturdy. I use it to record concerts. I attach a stereo mic bar and a couple mics and I'm good to go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy stand I am using this stand with Canon Speedlite 580EX II flashes along with a 45 convertible umbrella attached to an umbrella bracket with adjustable shoe. There is a bundled pair of stands from Impact with the 36 umbrella that costs less than this setup but I liked that this light stand gets up high to about 11'. I have not used this stand outdoors but for indoor use it is sturdy and the base comes out wide enough to give confidence that the attachments up top won't tip over on you without some kind of effort. After all you can't beat the laws of physics so the higher the stand reaches the easier it might be to tip. There are some weight-bags that can be applied to the stand to avoid that problem. Otherwise, for the relatively light Speedlite's and umbrella, the stand works great. I will be buying a second set to match now that I know the stand is sturdy enough.
