B&H # MA165 is for tripods with rounded rubber/plastic feet pads, B&H # MA165MV is for tripods with spiked feet.

Will this fit on a Sachtler 75 tripod (uses a SP75 spreader)?
We can only recommend the Sachtler spreader, as the Manfrotto spreader may not securely attach or be of the proper spread diameter for a Sachtler tripod.

How do you place the tripod feet into the ground tripod spreader?
Your tripod has to have spiked feet something like the Manfrotto 3193 tripod. The leg ends nest into the bases at the ends of the spreader and are secured with a rubber strap.
