I like the quick locking and lite cf weight compared to the my old version. I'm able to still put it low to the ground. You do have to change center colom. And with the arm out weight it. It also is very tall which is nice. I would like to see some way to tighten the arm better. But this has been very trustworthy tripod.
Putting these leg protectors on your tripod is like fitting into pants 3 sizes too small. After 1 hour of pulling and squeezing the two sides together to make it easier on the zipper, I managed to get all three protectors on, except the bottom 1 where the zipper fabric overlaps itself and makes the protector even thicker. About two hours later, two of the three protectors developed bulges in their zipper as they were so tight. End result was one leg was fine, two legs developed broken zippers from too much pressure on the zipper. Yes, I ordered the right size for my tripod. If only each protector was 1/8 bigger in circumference, all would have been fine. Definitely, NOT Recommended as a product I would buy as does not fit intended use.
