LensCoat LensPouch Medium Wide Overview

The Digital Camo LensCoat LensPouch, in medium wide, is a soft neoprene pouch designed to store, carry, and protect a lens, tripod ball head, or other incidental camera equipment during travel and transport. The pouch includes a removable reinforced front element protection disc for the lens. An easy pull cord closure allows for fast and easy access.

There is a convenient 1" belt loop that allows connecting the pouch to a belt or belt system. It also includes a heavy-duty snap hood to clip onto a belt, jacket, or camera bag. The pouch flattens and compacts when empty, for easy storage. The Digital Army Camo is an advanced computer generated camouflage pattern. It is modeled after the U.S. Army's standard-issue ACU pattern, which provides a pixelated pattern that maximizes visual break up. The pattern, constructed from small rectangular pixels of color, mimics naturally occurring dappled textures and rough boundaries.

question

I see a lot of questions about fits for specific lenses. Is there a rule of thumb to use in determining what size pouch to order for a particular lens? Lens length?
Asked by: Tim S.
Measure the physical length of your lens-- has worked for three different lenses!

question

Will this pouch fit my Tamron 16300 lens with lens hood reversed? Thanks, Blair
Asked by: Blair W.
I'm not quite sure because I don't have a Tamron 18-300 lens dimensions = 2.95 x 3.92 (75 x 99.5 mm), but I tested the pouch with my Nikon 18-140 lens dimensions = 3.07 x 3.82 (78 x 97 mm) and the pouch fitted the lens with the lens hood reversed.I bought my Lens Pouch (Medium Wide, Black) for protecting my Tokina 11-16 lens (in this case, the lens hood fits outside the pouch).

question

Is this the best size/fit for the Canon 24-105mm f/4?
Asked by: Carl
I bought both the Small Wide and Medium Wide sizes. I carry a Tokina 12-24mm f4 in the Small Wide, but I often swap my Canon 24-105mm f4 into the Small Wide pouch while the 12-24mm f4 is in use in the field. The Canon 24-105mm f4 actually fits in the Small size just fine, but it's a tight squeeze and I can just barely fully cinch the drawstrings. If you like a snug fit, the Small Wide size will work just fine for the Canon 24-105mm f4. For a more ample fit, go with the Medium Wide.

In the United States MARINE CORPS this camouflage pattern is known as 'Digital Desert,' and as a retired MARINE; Disabled War Veteran i am a big fan of this 'camo' pattern, everything in my home is camouflaged. I have found the medium and large size camo patterns. Do you have the small and x-large sizes available? Thank you for your time and your help.Take care and GOD Bless!!!SuperSniperSal

question

Will this pouch fit the Nikon 80-200MM 2.8 D lens fully- end to end without any of the lens protruding?
Asked by: Anonymous
B&H has asked that I respond to your question, because I purchased an identical case a few months ago. I use my case for a Sony/Zeiss 28-70mm F2.8 zoom lens. The lens, measured at the removable hood, is 4 inches wide. Without the hood the lens is 3.5 inches wide. The lens has an overall length of 5.5 inches. The lens fits in the pouch, and the drawstring pulls the open end closed. If the lens hood is not included - because its' width takes up quite a bit of space- I believe that the case would accommodate, and close, over a lens that is 6 inches (and a little more) long. The case sufficiently padded, and the closing strap and lock work well. It's holding up nicely.
