Using a "Tri-Titanium" alloy compromised of aluminum, magnesium, and titanium, the Slik 700DX Pro Tripod Legs has a strength-to-weight ratio 40% greater than comparable tripods in its class. It is a very professional unit whether you're concerned with strength, fit and finish, or refinement of operation. The rapid-type center column cannot rotate accidentally, and the lever locks work securely with a minimum of movement. The 700DX has foam-padded upper segments to ease carrying on your shoulder and working in the cold, and its simple angled rubber feet give a firm footing on a wide variety of surfaces.

SLIK 700DX Pro Reviews
A bit heavy, you need strong hands to make it easy to move.
I love the tripod, this is the best tripod I ever had! I have been using another smaller version of this tripod for 15 years and recently discovered this "full version" of my mini tripod, that was amazing, I used it for 15 years!!! I am full time real estate photographer. This tirpod is very high, much higher than any other I had, very stable, just amazing. I paired it with Slick AC1500 head and it is the best combo of the best, by FAR!!! I have been working with these kind of tripod heads for years, photographed thousands of houses, tried all of them and wore them all down. This is not only the best and seem to be most durable too.
Great tripod
This tripod came highly recommended and I really like it but even after7 months of use the legs are still really stiff to use. Not sure if that is by design or needs more breaking in...I do use it daily and it is very sturdy, so I am grateful for that so it works well!
