The Manfrotto 3159 Quick Release Plate has a 1/4"-20 threaded screw and a video locating pin. It fits any Bogen tripod head with the RC0 quick release system, which includes amongst others the 3038, 3039, 3047, 3055, 3055S & 3063 heads.
The Manfrotto 030VHS-14 Quick Release w/Video Pin works as intended, for a reasonable price. It makes a really firm connection between a large lens and the tripod. There isn't much more to be said about the product. It's high quality, shipping materials were very nice and everything was great!
It fits the old Bogen 3047 just fine. I find it easier to keep a spare with the cameras I use with tripods in the event I forget to pop one into the tripod when I set out. For those who wonder, the pin can be unthreaded easily.
