Works great and stays on the mic without sliding. The rubber end squishes a bit so I can fit it in the small space I have for it in my camera bag.

The RODE WS7 Deluxe Windshield for the NTG3 Microphone will fit on the Sennheiser MKH416 while clamped into the Sony XLR-H1 XLR Handle Unit of the Sony FX3 Camera.

No it will not work with an NTG2. The dimensions of the NTG2 are very different than the NTG3. NTG2 Dimensions: ø: 0.87 x L: 11.02" / ø: 22 x L: 280 mm NTG3 Dimensions ø: 0.75 x L: 10.04" / ø: 19 x L: 255 mm This will fit the NTG2 nicely: Auray WSC-4014 Chinchilla Windshield (14 cm, Black) B&H # AUWSC401: https://bhpho.to/34pRgL0

Not at all. This furry windshield is designed for the cylindrical RODE NTG3 shotgun microphone.

Will this be too large for the VideoMic Pro? If so, is there a windshield that would work well for both the VideoMic Pro and the NTG2?

Unfortunately the difference in size between the two mics will not allow you to utilize the same windshield for both the VideoMic Pro and NTG2. This is designed for the NTG 1, 2 and 4 microphones. For the VideoMic Pro the Rycote Windjammer is recommended. See B&H # RYMWRVMPR. Rode also overs a slip over windshield designed for the mic. B&H # RODEADCTVMPR
