The Coolpix S60 incorporates Nikon In-Camera innovations including In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, Face Priority AF, and D-Lighting. The Nikon In-Camera Red-Eye Fix system automatically corrects for most instances of the red-eye effect that is commonly caused by the use of a built-in flash on a compact camera. The Coolpix S60 incorporates 17 scene modes that cover some of the more common difficult shooting situations to maximize the image quality. Simply match you current shooting situation with one of the Scene Modes and the camera will make the necessary adjustments automatically. If you can't seem to choose the right mode, the Scene Auto Selector automatically recognizes the scene in your picture and adjusts camera setting.
Smile Shutter and Blink Warning
Makes sure you always catch the best possible image when shooting portraits or group shots. The Smile Shutter captures an image at the decisive moment when your subject smiles and the Blink Warning will let you know when your subject's eyes are closed so you can retake your picture.
Movie and Voice Recording
Shoot QuickTime movies with sound at VGA resolution with a frame rate of 30 fps at a clip length that is only limited by the available space on the internal memory or your SD memory card. The Voice Memo Function Records up to 20 seconds of sound that can then be attached to an image.
