If I were to use the adapter to fit the 3.5 lcd that I have will I need a different lens so that the image won't become blurry?
The MHE52 Monitor Hood/Viewfinder will not affect the clarity of the lens.

what optional adapters make it fit to other cameras?
The viewfinder is attached to your LCD screen via a stretch fabric band which wraps around the back of the screen. The actual area that the hood covers is 1-7/8 x 2-2/4 so you can decide if that will work for your size of screen. I have two of them and they work great for my Sony NX5. I also use them on my DSLR screen by moving the stretch fabric off to the side.
