Westcott 0050 reviews

Fluorescent Lamp - 50 Watts/120 Volts 5500K is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bulbs!!! I use these bulbs with the Westcott TD6 lights and I couldn't be happier. The color is fantastic and very soft. Not to mention they are bright. If you get the full set I recommend the Lamp Guard case. B&H # WELG6C Why? Yesterday I was involved in a car accident where I was hit from behind. The lights were in the LampGuard cases which were in the trunk of my car and they survived the hit. I would consider them pretty sturdy. So my outrageous claim is they will survive a car crash. They do get a little warm after extended use but they cool off quickly. Give it about 60 seconds and you're good to go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best I have found of its kind I am one thst knows better but still try to get by on a dime, well it bit me by purchasing a cheaper model of these great bulbs Online, I didnt even have the takeoff models a week before I had problems and the cheap ones didnt nearly put out the light these lamps do.Iam just starting up my own photography business and was trying to save money. Once I bought these lamps it was like night and day in difference, I have been telling all my buddies about these and have definately learned a valuable lesson..Great Product!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fluorescent Lamp - 50 Watts/120 Volts 5500K by Westcott I bought these for my Westcott Spider Light TD6. I love them. They are big, but they are bright. WE use them as fill light for newborn photography in a large soft box to get a natural light look when the window light is not great. They run cool, use very little power and are easy to install. Not great for travel, but great for studio settings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lamp. Does all the work it should. Genius lamp. Works great. Delivers huge amounts of light. Generates very little heat. Also doesn't flicker on video. Only issue is the bulbs huge 9 inch size and 4 inch diameter. I use it in some cheap paper china lanterns from Ikea with great results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'd buy this over and over I use 2 Westcott TD6's in my studio and they have 12 of these lamps between them. The light output and colour of the light are fabulous. I was looking for bright daylight and these fit the bill perfectly. Don't procrastinate like I did, do it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bulb Purchased to have backups for my Wescott Spiderlite 5. Like all of your photography equipment you should have backups for all of your equipment. I am a location portrait photographer and have a kit with a couple of the laps as backups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lights The Spiderlte system is great in the studio, especially if you are a fan of continuous lighting over strobe. Just be sure you anchor your light stand well. Tipping it over and breaking all the lights is not an inexpensive event.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product, just as advertised. Product used to light background for indoor photography. Light value of 5500K, and a well built fixture. I could not use this light with a couple of my old reflectors, due to the width of the built in ballast.
