I love that this product line is mindful of protecting our environment and I buy it primarily for that reason. I've learned to work with it and it gets the job done. I do sometimes have issues with it's consistency.

Lasts and Lasts

This fixer is fantastic. It can be a little smelly when mixing from the concentrate, but once mixed, there's very little smell. I like that it is a more environmentally- (and people-) friendly product. And it has stamina! I've developed many, many rolls of B&W film and used the same solution for over a year. My last batch finally had crystals starting to form in the solution. I remixed when that happened since I figured it was high time for it, but my understanding is that even with the crystals starting to form, you can strain the solution and keep on using it. Highly recommended.
