Would this work as a copy stand mount for a Sony a7iiii and Sigma 70mm macro lens?
You can certainly is it on a copy stand but a ball head would be fiddly to use in that capacity, I would recommend no head and attach the camera directly to the copy stand as intended or use a small tilt head, but attaching a head to a copy stand will change the camera position off center.

How does this differ from the SBH-100DQ, can the SBH-120DQ take the SAME release plate that fits the SBH-100? (Or are they different sizes?)
