Can this work with Leica S2 camera and Profoto A1X?

It would work but you would loose all control. You would be better off with the manual remote for power adjustment from the camera https://bhpho.to/2YDZ2g7.

Can you assign a group to this unit when used as a receiver? I understand you can't control the power but it would be nice to be able to isolate it for firing purposes.
Asked by: Andrew
The unit only has channel selection. No group control. For group control you would need one of these as a receiver https://bhpho.to/2YDZ2g7.

Yes this will transmit from a Canon DSLR to a Profoto B1 but you will not have control over the power output being that this is a manual trigger.

question

Just want to make sure- I already own the TTL air transmitter used for B1/D1. I would like to be able to fire my Acute packs using that remote. Is this item what I need to plug into the Acute to work in conjunction with that remote in order to fire the pack? I understand that I won't be able to adjust the power output- that's fine- I just need to fire the pack.
Asked by: Matthew
Yes this is exactly what you need to plug into non-air equipped units to cause them to trigger.
