This ARRI Safety Mesh for Arrilite 650 and 1000 is placed in front of the lamp, in order to shield users from blow-outs and exploding lamps. The mesh catches the lamp shrapnel in case a lamp does explode. This shield should be in place every time you turn your Arrilite on. The laser-cut hexagonal safety mesh maximizes light transmission and is tough enough to withstand location abuse.
