You are correct. This is a mistake in the listing. The A0040B is made of aluminum, not steel. The steel version is the A0040CS

Does this stand pair well with an Avenger D600 boom arm in terms of size, weight ratio of both items?
The avengers are super strong and can handle a lot of weight. The avengers I have and boom are fine for holding my einsteins in the studio but I don't use them on location outdoors. I use C-stands then.
