Avenger Baby Stand 40 Steel Reviews
Avenger's Beefy Baby
Same as the classic triple riser beefy baby stand you'll find in every studio lighting package, equivalent to the ones made by American, Matthews, Modern, etc. The same stand is also available in 35 and 45 versions from Avenger, which are shorter and taller than typical beefy babys, respectively. This one is the more common size. Typical nice and smooth Avenger quality. My only complaint is the three bolts that connect the legs to the stays are slightly too long and the protruding threaded end can rip sandbags. Not an uncommon issue, though, and is easily fixed by adding six stainless washers so the nylock nuts sit flush at the end.
What a tank
If you are looking for a solid stand that can really hold up to a heavy setup this is the one. Rock solid performance.
