Tiffen 6772SUR reviews

67-72mm Step-Up Ring is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality you'd expect from Tiffen I got this set-up ring as I bought a new lens for my D80 SLR and I didn't want to have to buy new filters. With my HD camera setup I have a bunch of 72mm filters, so it made sense to get this step-up ring. I'll admit that I was half-expecting some sort of hard plastic, but instead this is high-quality metal that is durable and gets the job done. I'm going to stick with this step up ring for my other lenses as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I expected I purchased this step up ring to use my 72mm circular polarizer with my 67mm 70-200 f4L lens. It fits without any problems. No need to spend big bucks for such a simple application.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You really don't need a macro lens This lens goes in front of my Nikon 70-300mm VR lens. I have no hesitation in recommending this Canon close-up lens for Nikon users. The +2 dioptre is more than enough if you want to fill the frame with a flower which is as small as one's thumb. Shooting toy cars (scale model cars) with this lens also gave some fantastic images which looked very realistic and appeared as the real car (again because you can fill the frame). I usually prefer the 70-300mm with my camera more than the 18-135mm or 50mm prime. So whenever I want to get close to a subject just put on this close-up lens and continue shooting. You need a step-up filter, bought the 67-72mm Step-up Ring by Tiffen from B&H. Don't expect this lens to help you capture the compound eye structure of the house-fly. Need to work with a good tripod and proper DOF to make full use of this lens.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Enabler... This adaptor enables the use of 72mm filters on 67mm lenses. It thereby allows the use of a single filter over more than one lens size. Be advised that your 67 mm lens cap no longer works when you step up to 72mm. This one isn't brass but it serves my amateur needs just fine - that is - it hasn't jammed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Step Up Ring Works fine with the conversion ring for the SX50. No distortions of any kind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does The Job It is a fine thread but attached to the lens and filter with no problems
