    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made & Does the job The adapter was for a very wide angle 65mm lens (19mm in 35mm terms) so thin was important. This one spec'd out thinner than the other 67-72's on the B&H site. Know aluminium slightly more likely to bind but it will be 'permanently' mounted and I have a great filter wrench. :>) Seems well made and worked fine (no noticable vignetting). Would recommend.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly economical solution! This step up ring enabled me to use filters I already owned on a lens that I did not have any filters for saving me approx. $300 ! I use it on a zoom lens and have experienced no vignetting at any focal length and/ or aperture. I don't know what took me so long to find this gem of an item/ tool.

Couldn't use lens hood with it though, obviously, ended up still springing for the right sized filter. Will certainly be useful still in low light when I would only want a UV/clear filter rather than CPL.
