This lamp was supposed to fit the lowel dp but the ceramic part is slightly too big for the fixture.
We installed this bulb in an old spotlight, and noticed that it was dim... just as dim as the one it was replacing. Then noticed that the problem was not the bulb, but the mounting in the reflector! The bulb needs to be carefully mounted into the socket and then ensure that the bulb sits centered in the reflector for full brightness. Once that was done, it was perfect!
Product looks very good and I will buy again as long as the price continues to be very competitive. We have several theater spotlight. Had a little problem with getting the delivery address correct but the shipping department made the correction and bulbs arrived at the correct address in a timely manner.
When I needed to replace a broken light bulb for my Lowell light kit I actually first searched online on Lowell.com and couldn't find any information on what light bulbs were needed to fix it, also the company who sold the lights weren't selling these replacement light bulbs on their website. So when I called B and H the nice gentleman on the phone knew exactly which light bulb I needed for the kit I owned, saving me the trouble of having to figure it out myself. Very good pricing too as it was only $ dollars per bulb, I recommend buying a few so that you'll always be prepared with a back up on set in case your light bulb goes out.
Great bulb at a great price!!!!
Lamp works well and puts out lots of power. They aren't consistent, though. I can put 4 Lowels together, and the Impact lamps will be around 3000-3100k compared to others that run around 3200k-3300k. Not much difference, but can create some extra work in Post.
I couldn't locate it anywhere. Yet B&H had it on hand and for a great price. Perfect fit and right on time! Thanks
It fit in my Lowel DP and turned on. I haven't run it for hours and hours but it seems fine. I wish I could get bulbs for my Arri lights as cheap.
