The capsule is easily installed, includes a metal grille, and replaces faulty or damaged capsules. The ew100 series mic I was trying to use would not unmute. After checking the mic and receiver settings and the physical connections on the mic, the conclusion I came to was that the mic head was bad. I purchased this replacement head and the mic works just fine now.
