question

how does this tripd work with long exposures? does it shake or no, if you have any experience with landscape photography with this tripod i would like to hear from you.
Asked by: E- m.
This tripod will work fine for long exposures for cameras up to 10lbs. When sitting by itself the tripod will not shake. To further help the tripod stay still use a remote shutter trip device and hang a sandbag from the center post.

question

Will it pan 360 and what is the tilt max?
Asked by: Camille L.
All functions, except tightening of the plate, are controlled by a single knob. It will pan 360 degrees and also tilt into portrait position. However, it is not useful for panning shots or video. It is a very basic head that performs its basic function OK, One meaningful downside is there is no positive locking action of the plate (i.e. no button or QR). If using the supplied plate (which is pretty nice) there is some passive protection from two pins on the bottom of the plate which stops movement if loosened slightly. Using the fully compatible plate supplied with my Peak Designs Clutch offers no such protection so it is not idiot proof.
