Cavision RFD15 Overview

The Cavision RFD15BF is a Basic Mini Single Wheel Follow Focus mechanism for your mini-DV / prosumer camera. It provides you with a convenient, quick and precise method for controlling the focus on your camera using a knob on the side of the camera without the need to constantly reach over to the front of the lens. Follow focus systems have become a staple of professional photographers and videographers needing to frequently adjust a camera's focus according to changing scenes; hence the name "follow" focus.

Rods support not included
Optional Dual Focus/Zoom Control
You can mount two RD15Bs on the same rods support, and then use one for focus control and the other to control zoom.
Removable Marking Plate (Spring Loaded)
A removable marking plate will allow you to mark focus points during rehearsal and then use those points as guides during the actual shoot.
Compact & Lightweight
Like your camcorder, the RFD15BF is designed to be compact and lightweight for easy transport and storage.

I'm really impress with the quality and precision of this follow focus, it fits perfectly with Rokinon Cine DS lenses. This was just another great investment I did.

Does this FF work ok with a Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Lens? thnx.

It will work if you add a gear to the lens, but keep in the mind the 28-135 is a USM lens that lacks physical hard stops. The FF will work in focusing, but you won't have hard stops as the lens lacks it.

Yes, the RFD15BM will work with Rokinon lenses as long as they have teeth on the focus barrel of the lens for the follow focus gear to engage with.

This will work with a Canon DSLR lens with added gears plus a 15mm rods and baseplate. You will have to determine the diameter of the lens and find a gear such as this one below.

this might sound crazy but could you theoretically use this for zoom?
