I don't see anywhere to add photos to my review from a few days ago so I'm adding them to this review.

Although I purchased this wide angle adapter for my Sony PMW EX1, it also works on my Canon 5D mark II on my 24-70mm f/2.8L lens. On the EX1 you have to set the lens to MACRO and AF, and then it works very well, and on the 25-70mm f/2.8L lens, it works through the entire range of the zoom! So overall it's simply a remarkable value in my opinion.

Will this work on Sony 24-105 mm for lens? Thanks

The Sony FE 24-105mm, BH #SO241054G, does have a 77mm filter thread. However we do not recommend this product to be attached to it. This is designed for camcorders with a fixed lens on it. We do not know how it will perform with a lens like the above on a Mirrorless photo camera.

question

Hello, I have a 16mm wide angle rokinon lens and I use it with my BMPCC. And as you all already know, my 16mm goes to about 46mm because of the 2.88 crop factor. Therefore, by using this wide angle adapter, then can you say that I'm getting some of that cropped off image back?
Asked by: Enrique
This adapter makes lenses with a 77mm filter thread, which the 16mm Rokinon MFT lens has, 0.7 times wider. A 16mm lens would be an 11mm lens, and from there you'd do your crop factor conversion. However, Rokinon does make a 12mm Cine Lens for MFT mount cameras that is not a fish eye. I honestly think you'd get a much nicer overall image for around the same focal length if you purchased a wider lens instead of this adapter.

Will this function properly on a Sony DSC RX-10 ...

Will this function properly on a Sony DSC RX-10 IV with a 24-600 fixed zoom. I would use a 72-77 step-up ring and I assume you need to set the camera to macro mode. Will it focus aotomtically or is manual focus required? Will this function well on a Sony DSC RX 10 IV with a 72mm fixed zoom lens? I assume I need to set the camera to macro mode. Will it focus automatically? I just care about the wide angle end. Am I better off with a 72mm, or will the 77mm protect against possible vignetting with the 72mm?
Asked by: Ed
This model is 77mm and you would require a step ring to use it with 72mm lens. You would need to set the camera to macro mode. It would be best to work with a 72mm model. This is a 72mm model https://bhpho.to/3EGLwAj

question

Has anyone tried this on a Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 DC with a GH4 + Speed Booster XL? I would like to use it with this setup (of which I have) for UHD 4K and HD 1080 shooting... I'm hoping to get a gimbal very soon and I would think this would work well with that as it is relatively light weight too... Thoughts?
Asked by: Steven
The Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 has a 72mm filter thread. To use this exact model of Cavision Wide Angle adapter you would also need a 72mm to 77mm adapter. Once you have that adapter it will fit. It is also a returnable item, so if you are not happy with the results you'll be able to send it back for a refund.
