Kramer TP-552 HDMI Over Twisted Pair Receiver

With its continued stellar reputation in high-definition distribution, Kramer once again raises-the-bar of excellence with its TP-552 HDMI Over Twisted Pair Receiver. Designed and built with both HDTV home theater and presentation/multimedia enthusiasts in mind, this unit offers twisted pair (RJ-45) signal conversion to a HDMI output at a maximum data rate of 1.65Gbps. It's compatible with HDTV signals, is HDCP compliant, and works in conjunction with Kramer's TP-551 transmitter. It offers a system range of up to 120' (40 m) with 1080p HD and up to 200' (60 m) with 1080i HD signals. Moreover, this versatile receiver features 4-levels of EQ (peaking) control and enhanced Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) for reliable connectivity.

For optimum performance it requires the use of dual STP (shielded twisted pair) CAT5e (24AGW) or CAT6 cables; and it's rackmountable with an optional rack adapter.
