The Forest Green Camo finish BodyBag with Lens from LensCoat is a camera body and lens cover made from soft shock-absorbing neoprene. It is designed to hold a consumer/prosumer DSLR with attached 4.5" lens, and without an optional body grip. It protects the camera and lens from the nicks, dings, and scratches of accidental impact. It also keeps the gear free from dust and dirt while protecting it from the elements. The bag also has a removable front element protection disc made from rigid plastic and firm foam, to further protect the lens from impact damage.

The BodyBag with Lens has a touch fastener closure that makes storage and access quick and easy. This classic Forest Green Camouflage pattern is ideal for general use in wooded areas

BodyBag with Lens (Forest Green Camo) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Effective, though not versitile I bought this because I was looking for a neoprene version of a fitted case. Well, this fits the bill in the general sense I suppose, but most fitted cases I have seen (though leather) allow you to unsnap & pull the front down quickly to allow you to shoot without removing the entire case. This does not allow for that. It is either all on, or all off. That was a major disappointment for me, because I wanted to use it backpacking. If we happened across a wild animal, there is no way I could get this thing off quickly to take a shot. That being said, it does fit my eos7D with my 15-85mm S series lens nicely, and does offer good protection from minor knocks and dings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits Better Than All The Rest Replace an OpTech pouch that claimed to have the same dimensions. I have a Canon T6i with a Tokina 11-16 2.8 and Sigma 17 - 50 2.8 lenses that I could barely fit into the OpTech pouch. The LensCoat pouch is slightly larger and fits the camera with either lens perfectly. The only thing that would make it even more perfect is to have a slot at the bottom to accommodate an attached sling strap. Currently I have to remove the strap each time I put the camera into the pouch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does more than claimed I waited six months to review from my experience. Others have wished this case could be used while shooting, as a walk about protection. It can! Just put the case on your DSLR, locate the tripod mount by feel, and punch a hole. Using the awl on my Leatherman, this took all of 2. Use any 1/4 x 20 machine screw with a washer. Aluminum or stainless steel would be best. I actually used the adapter for my Cotton Carrier (google Cotton Carrier which is another fine product). You will not need the short retention strap which comes with the BodyBag, so cut this off as it gets in the the way. This case nicely fits a Nikon D7000 with the Nikon 35mm f1.8 DX, even with the lens hood extended. It also fits with my 18-200 Tamron. When attached to the bottom of the camera, the BodyBag case functions the way leather cases did in the classic days of 35mm film cameras. Opening is a one hand single motion flip. The rear of the Bodybag is cut out to expose the LCD screen and all but the bottom most button. You will find, though, that the bodyBag drops off and hangs out of the way and that all buttons, and the card door and battery door are accessible. Closing the case does require two hands, for a gentle stretch of the neoprene over the bottom corners of the camera. This becomes second nature. I find my lens cap superfluous with the BodyBag, and the cap lives in a shirt pocket. Ultimate test was a recent trip to the Amazon River and then to the Urabamba River and Machu Picchu, during rainy season. While my friends had their cameras under rain jackets, I did not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits Canon 5D Mark iii with 24X105 lens Got this cover for my 5D Mark iii with 24x105 lens. It fits perfectly with the hood mounted in the stowed position. Very happy with quality of product. Exactly what I wanted for walking around all day. Protects camera and lens from slight bumps and dust. Also disguises the camera as to not draw attention to it. Also no trademarks displayed. Stelthy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for I purchased this cover for my Nikon D40 when I don't need to haul my entire camera bag with me. It is perfect for protecting my camera with an attached lens when it's inside my backpack. My largest lens is the 55-200mm and the cover fits perfectly over it - I'd say that a slightly larger lens would still fit, but not too much bigger. There is a small strap on the inside of the cover so you can attach it to something while the camera is in use. All in all, it's exactly what I needed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Me gusto mucho.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Body Bag For Live Camera This is a good travel, and storage accessory. I keep my D90 in a padded backpack, but now I will use this too in concert. I leave the camera in this around the house when I think I might want to shoot some spontaneous quick pics to protect from dust or any possible accident (there won't be any). It fits well with my 18-105 lens attached. I would have used it with my last trip out of country. On the other hand, the Body Bag would be better if I could figure out how to use the camera with the bag partially on, partially off. That would increase utility.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cover! I use this bag as a cover inside a backpack. It will stretch over a D-90 with a 70-300 lens attached. It was a lot better quality than I expected and offers a lot of protection.
