BodyBag Compact with Lens (Forest Green Camo) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted I wanted soft cover over the Nikon 5000 to protect it while I was walking around on vacation. The velcro closure holds together great. I was able to stretch the cover over the camera with the 55-200mm lens.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just OK Bought this to carry my Canon Rebel T2i with an 18-135mm lens in my backpack. The Bodybag Compact was just big enough for this camera/lens combo. Cushioning is very minimal, hence the 3-star rating. So, I think cushioning could be better without being overly bulky in order to provide better protection. Also, description is not the best as far as cameras that this fits. I would recommend getting the next model size up if you are ever going to use it for a camera comparable to my T2i with a larger lens. I intend to get another to fit my T2i with my 70-300mm lens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit This case is a perfect fit for my Nikon D3100. Great choice...and with so many options on the market, it was difficult to choose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good minimal protection I purchased this to protect my Sony NEX 6 and 7 in a saddlebag; was looking for something that would protect it from lenses and other objects bumping into it while riding. I've found it better to pack items separately with protective wraps than to try to fit a camera bag into saddlebags, especially if I'm also packing other items for an extended road trip. This was a perfect fit for my NEX 6/7 with an 18-200 lens. Don't expect it to protect the camera from a fall onto a hard floor, but should be perfect for what I need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for taking pics on the go This bodybag is great for bringing you camera along when you don't want to carry around your entire camera bag. Easily fits my Canon Rebel XSi with a lens attahed. Now I can put my camera in my purse without worrying about it getting scratched up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, compact case for Sony A7 I did a lot of shopping on B&H to find a case that wasn't huge and bulky for my Sony a7 with Sony kit lens. I have a big shoulder bag that I always carry with me. With this case, I'll be able to put the camera in there rather than having to cary a dedicated camera bag. This means I'm going to have my good camera with me much more often. A big plus in my opinion. Not to mention, that's part of why you'd buy a mirrorless camera in the first place (smaller, lighter, lower profile). I bought two cases: this one and the Ape Case Compact Expandable Holster. The Ape Case did not even come close to fitting, so if you have an A7, don't bother. Summary: I like the case, it's good quality, it fits my camera pretty well, and does the job. As far as neoprene cases for cameras with offset lenses, this is really the only option. (There is one other that would fit, but it got quite a few complaints about the quality of the neoprene. I didn't risk it.) Fit: This case fits snugly around the body and is somewhat loose around the lens itself. This seems okay. As far as I know, all the Sony Alpha camera bodies are the same size, so if you've got a big lens on your Sony A-series, this case should work for you too. The semi-rigid support at the end of the lens seems like a good idea. It's the right size for my lens and seems like it would help prevent the lens cap from coming off accidentally. It's wrapped in neoprene and has a little give to it. There are two coverage gaps at the top of the camera body where the sides don't quite meet the top flap. The body itself is protected on the top and sides, but there may be opportunities for the corners to get knocked. (This seems to be due to the raised flash shoe on the body of my cameramany mirrorless cameras are flat on top.) I'm going to keep my case despite this. If you're really rough with your camera and have one with a raise flash shoe like the A7, this might be the only reason not to buy this case. This case is one of the few neoprene cases designed for lenses that are not in the center of the camera. To the best of my knowledge, this is necessary for all the Sony mirrorless cameras (Alpha and NEX). Quality: The quality of the neoprene is high. If you've ever had an InCase neoprene laptop sleeve, this is exactly as thick and springy as that. No complaints here. Closing the Case: As other reviewers have said, this case is a little awkward to close (especially since it fits the body snuggly. Part of the difficulty is the cord for attaching the case to your belt loop. I'm probably going to just cut mine off. Who on earth would let a $1600 camera bump around as they walk hanging by their belt loop. Not I. The only benefit might be for guys who don't cary around a bag for their camera and who want to have a hands-free way to hang onto their case. The closure is velcro. Even though it's noisy, this is probably a better option than pressing snaps against the body of your camera. Magnets wouldn't be strong enough and I'm always wary of them damaging the electronic components inside anyway. The velcro of this closure is quite strong and secure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I needed I wanted a lightweight cover to slip over my SLR so when I was out hiking or camping I didn't have my large bag to carry around. This is a good solution. I'd had the case in light rain too and it seemed to hold up just fine. It compact and light, so that I only carry my camera and it's easy to get the camera in and out of the case when I want it. The only reason I would want anything different would be to have a backpack style with two straps instead of just my camera strap.
