Wein WP-1000 reviews

WP-1000 Deluxe FlashMeter is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great flash meter!!!!! this flash meter is great and easy to use!!! and inexpensive....it is very accurate. you could buy a electronic flash meter for $200 or $300, and it would do the same thing : give you a light metering!! so save your money and buy this wein 1000. it does measure incident light ( light coming into your subject)and incorporate the ambient light in the reading. however you have to know to set up your camera at 1/250 because it gives you a reading based of 1/250.the meter comes with explanation on how to use it..so you can't mess it up!!! so easy, a 8 years old could do it. in conclusion: great meter at a great price..basic but useful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hard to beat this oldie Inexpensive, accurate (matches my expensive Gossen digital to within +/-0.5 a stop every time) and uses an inexpensive 9v battery. What more could you want? Oh, yeah, simple. Just be sure to put the meter where the subject is and point it at the camera. Probably the least expensive flash meter made to boot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from its a weiner I got this meter for teaching. I recommend it to students. It helps to convey certain principles though not the most accurate meter in the world it does a great job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from no complaints..so far! Have seen some other reviews hinting that this could fail down the road, but there's no indication of that..has worked fine for more than 20 shoots so far..very accurate. Granted, it's not the most sophisticated flash meter out there, but for the money it does the job..would recommend for any beginner or pro on a tight budget.
