It features an aplanatic Schmidt-Cassegrain optical system consisting of a corrector plate, a spherical primary mirror, and a secondary mirror along with a set of field-flattening lenses integrated into the baffle tube. Will this OTA fit on a Nexstar Evolution Mount?
No, the EdgeHD CGE 8" OTA 91030-XLT comes with the wider dovetail that cannot fit on the NexStar Evolution Mount, which accepts the skinnier CG-5 dovetail. The dovetail bar must be swapped in order to fit.
