The result is an average light transmission of over 97% giving sharp contrast and well balanced color. Hoya HMC filters are recommended for enhancing the performance of today's multicoated digital lenses.

Multicoated to minimize reflection at the filter surfaces which reduces flare and ghosting.

We do not have a filter available to find the outer diameter, and I cannot find any information online regarding your inquiry. i have this filter, and noticed green lens flare ...

i have this filter, and noticed green lens flare on Nikon 70-200mm, but no flare on 16mm-35mm. Anyone has the same issue with zoom lens? I'm thinking buying 2nd one for my 70-200mm, and wondering if I have a bad one.
