What is the exact outer diameter of this filter? My lens to which I intend to mount this is 59.1 mm / 2.33 inches.

Unfortunately, the Hoya 55mm Ultraviolet UV(0) Haze Filter • MFR #A55UVC has been discontinued and is no longer available in our inventory. We do not have a filter available to find the outer diameter, and I cannot find any information online regarding your inquiry. As such, I would recommend contacting contacting Hoya Filter USA directly either by calling 1 (800) 421-1141 or by e-mailing [email protected] to see if they may be able to assist you with your inquiry.

question

HelloI would like to know if this filter is good enough and it is clear enough without reducing the sharpness of the image at all ?Also is it on the lens 24-70 full frame body going to show any vignetting. Thanks a lott
Asked by: Anonymous
This filter would be a good choice and would not reduce the sharpness of your lens. It will not cause vignetting on a 24-70mm lens attached to a full frame body.

The Alpha version is a standard type of UV filter, the C version is a thinner version with shallower filter threads. This version is popular on wider lenses where vignetting can be a potential issue.
