    Lowepro 200 AW reviews

Pro Runner 200 AW Backpack (Black) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 290.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for My Needs I am a casual hiker and always take my DSLR with me but have been limited to what I can carry in a normal backpack, which is usually the camera, extra battery, and 1 lens. With the Lowepro Pro Runner 2000 I have a very comfortable backpack that I can customize to carry the camera, 2 extra lenses, extra battery, filters, and, best of all, my tripod. The Pro Runner 2000 even has a bottom support for the tripod that can be stowed away in a dedicated pocket when not used. It also has a stowable rain cover in case I get caught in bad weather. There is also room for water bottles, a light jacket, etc. It is ideal for my purposes and I am really enjoying my hikes even more now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bag. I really love this bag. When I started out with photography I didn't have very much gear so I didn't think to buy a real bag. Then I started buying lens, memory cards, filters, flashes etc and needed something to carry it all in, while still remaining compact enough to fly with. This bag did it for me. The inserts are sturdy and you can reform the sections to fit what you have. Mind you, it won't hold EVERYTHING, so keep that in mind and pack what you need unless you are a professional, in that case you need a bigger bag. But this sturdy, rugged, and awesome bag is perfect for the hobbyist and enthusiast alike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great backpack that handles all my gear I love this backpack. I can put two or even three camera bodies in it with two or three lenses, chargers, extra batteries, cards, card reader, cables, and it doesn't feel like I'm carrying a lot of weight or that, plus I don't feel like a coatrack with umpteen bags hanging off my shoulders and around my neck. It has enough pockets so everything is easy to find. It's lightweight and comfortable. Love the rain cover feature, because I am frequently outside in the weather. Makes it easy to bring enough stuff to an event that I don't have to constantly swap out lenses on a single body.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for everyday carrier of photography gear... but! The bag is great if all you need to take is a camera + flash + 2-3 lenses (depending on their sizes). I have my D7200, SB600 flash, 17-55, 70-200, 60 macro and 10.5 fisheye inside). It also has room for some filters and extra battery and cards, but that's just about it. No room for laptop or anything else you'd like to carry, so basically this is only for photography equipment. The reason I gave only 4 stars though is that my D7200 has a grip on it, and it is a bit too high for the bag like that. It sticks out of the compartment foam and makes the zipper a bit hard to close.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds a lot Fits my nikon d90 with battery pack/grip, 55-200 lens with cokin filter holder (you remember filters, right?). Loaded it with sb-600 flash, 2x tele, 18-50 lens, 90mm 2.8. Still have 4 compartments left for extra batteries, etc. with the movable panels positioned as the bag arrived. camera and 90 do rise above bag base, but there's plenty slop with flap so you're not stuffing them in or bulging the flap. Plenty of other little pockets for stuff. Only thing that bothers me is that it really looks small. If you wear it like a backpack, don't stand near a school bus stop- you'll look like you're waiting for the short bus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything I needed and more! I am a newbie when it comes to photo accessories but I know a good product when I use it. The 200 AW backpack is absolutely perfect for carrying all of my accessories with room to spare. The best part is that it isn't too big which is the problem with a lot of camera packs I saw. This one held my T2i, extra lens, 4 batteries, intervoloper, filters and had room to spare. I've even got room for that Sigma 8-16mm lens I have been eying as well as a flash! Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra bucks and get this bag over that other cheap one you are looking at. You will be glad you did!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lowepro ProRunner 200 Backpack Purchased this backpack to store my Nikon F100 with attached 80-200 lens, 50mm lens, SB-28 speedlight, polarizing filter, a total of 6 rolls of film tucked inside different compartments, and six AA batteries. It's the perfect size backpack for my 5'4 height. I did rearrange the padded inserts to get the fit I wanted, but it works fine. I researched other camera backpacks but the size of this worked best. Other things I appreciate about the backpack is that it doesn't look like a camera bag, has nice external padding, and comfortable shoulder straps. The only thing that could have been better is the built-in rain cover--it needs to be bigger to fully cover the backpack. Haven't yet tried the pocket for an attached tripod. I have a tripod bag so that may not be something I use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds More Than I Expected! I got this backpack to hold a crop sensor DSLR and a couple of lenses. I also own a Lowepro sling which I use most often. Getting back to the Pro Runner 200 AW. . . this bag holds more than it looks capable of from the outside. I attached a photo to the review. There's a 18-135mm STM attached to the camera, 55-250mm STM, 10-18mm STM, 18-55mm STM, 50MM STM, 24mm pancake STM, and still room for the 40mm pancake STM in the upper left. Honestly I wouldn't take all these lenses out at the same time, but it's convenient to have them all in one place for storage. My 420ex Speedlite fits in one of the other pockets as well. Amazing amount of storage for a compact backpack. Decently strong construction, and adequate padding. I recommend it.
