This Signature 78 Spotting Scope kit from Vanguard includes the Signature 78 spotter with angled viewing and a 20-60x eyepiece, a convenient table top tripod, and a full-sized lightweight carbon fiber tripod with a quick-release pan head.
The Signature 78 is a full sized waterproof spotter with a rugged die-cast aluminum housing, a BAK4 prism, and fully multicoated optics. Combining the assets of an 80 mm objective and a 20-60x ocular, the Signature 78 offers ample magnification and resolution for viewing distant objects clearly.
The included SLR camera adapter enables viewers to connect a still camera to the scope for high-powered nature photography. An optional camera-specific T-mount is necessary for attaching the SLR adapter to a camera.
The two included tripods are quite capable of steadying the scope to ensure the sharpest imagery when viewing or digiscoping. The tabletop tripod is compact and it fits perfectly into the hard carry case. The larger Alta 224CP carbon fiber tripod is a refined support system that extends to 63", and it comes with Vanguard's PH-32 3 way fluid pan head with a quick release mechanism.
