With dimensions of 2.4 x 2.2", this Variokit monoballFix Cameraplate from Arca-Swiss is designed for use with the Canon 1D, Nikon D3, and select Nikon and Canon battery grips. Featuring the Variokit designation, this model can have its dovetail rotated to be perpendicular to the plate itself, allowing you to move the camera horizontally. It is compatible with the classic Arca-Swiss monoballFix quick release system so you can easily attach or detach your camera from the tripod while shooting.
In order to mount a variety of equipment, the plate uses a 1/4"-20 screw that can be adjusted inside a slot to find the proper fit. A raised lip on one of the edges is rounded to accommodate the battery grips and helps prevent twisting. Finally, the product is made of high-grade aluminum for durability.
