If i have a uwp wireless transmitter with a lavilier mic ... would this work if i had it off a boom pole with the wireless transmitter. -- or will the signals not work ..?
The ECM-674/9X can be used with the UWP beltpack transmitter when powering the mic by battery and using the proper cable ( Sony EC-1.5BX ).

Yes, the Sony ECM-674 Shotgun Microphone turns off when it is disconnected. If you are powering the microphone with a battery and don’t plan to use the mic for an extended period of time, it is recommended that you remove the battery from the battery compartment. The ECM-674 can be powered with a AA battery or using phantom power.
