    Lowepro 300 AW reviews

Pro Runner 300 AW Backpack (Black) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 118.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nicely made but not suitable for all uses Purchased this to carry Canon 5D, three large lenses (e.g., 70-200 f2.8), lens hoods, lens filters, flash, camera and flash batteries, flash diffuser, memory cards, and other accessories. I needed one that could transport all the equipment as well as enable quick access and facilitate lens changes while on walking tours. The Pro Runner 300 is quite large and configurable to house almost all of the above, but decided it was not practical for walking around and changing lenses on the fly. Its large size was also a concern considering airline policy of one carry-on plus a camera bag, as the Pro Runner is as large as my carry on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Backpack for Photoshoot Trip The Lowepro 300AW backpack main compartment holds a complete range of my Canon gears: a Canon 7D body; lens: a 10-22mm EF-S, a 24-70mm EF , a 70-200mm EF, and a 580EX M2 Flash. Aha... compare with my old 200 AW backpack..all of the above gears have to cramp together can not zip properly. I am very happy with this Lowepro 300 AW. It gives me ample room to play with. With the above gears, the compartment still have room for another lens/camera body. I intent to add another Canon 5D body in later. Besides, I can attach a tripod easily from outside with pouch to hold the tripod legs. This is truly the Backpack for any field trip photoshoot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spacious and solid build Things I wish this backpack offered: Ability to take off the belt that crosses user's chest (which just hangs when not in use). Ability to relocate the main divisors in a way that would allow the camera body (and its lens) to fit on the other end of the backpack; I guess the pack could be rigged to enable this. Ability to easily accommodate little larger tripods; my tripod isn't small, but it is not large either. Other than the 'negatives' just described, the backpack is great. Solidly built and space for a lot of stuff. Not designed to take equipment in and out while on the go; in other words the backpack has to come off user's back to get to things inside. I'd buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great product from Lowepro As we all know, we buy camera cases to carry, protect, transporting and for storing our camera equipment. This backpack camera case is heavy duty, well made and good looking. When I was looking to buy a camera case, I was interested if MY equipment would fit in this case. I hope the attached picture will show what equipment this case holds. Very pleased with product. And, yes, also great service from B&H!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Backpack for hiking and travel Good backpack for travel and hiking. Holds SLR with grip and with 4/5 lenses(with hoods) nicely. I have it with the following config. SLR and grip with 70/200mm attached. 70/300mm, 100mm, 50mm, 17-85mm, speed-light, batteries, remote switches in the main compartment. It also has tripod attachment. Front pockets can carry cables, small soft box etc. Cons: Main area could have been 1 deeper. Back needs more arch for ventilation on hot days. Inside pockets are pretty much useless for compact flash cards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT Pack Let me start out by saying I'm a pack'ophile. I LOVE backpacks, messenger bags, and the like. And not the cheap stuff. I've owned most every brand out there. This pack is a home run. The interior is well thought out and spacious. I've filled it with two camera bodies, a variety of lenses, and various related gear. The external tripod configuration works well even with a full size Gitzo. The rain cover is a clever thing indeed. It can't be forgotten or lost as it is attached to the pack, but yet, neatly hidden away. The only complaint I have is that the water bottle net is too small to accommodate any water bottle at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome upgrade to my Lowepro Mini This is my upgrade bag coming from a heavily used LowePro Mini Trekker 200. That bag while light, could only hold 1 DSLR and 2 lenses, tops. Now, I use 3-4 lenses almsot daily and that wasn't going to cut it. Grabbed this ata reasonable price, and love it. I can now hold up to 4-5 lenses PLUS my DSLR w/lens attached. Also has a bigger front zipper compartment for accessories, the usual memory card holders plus room for batteries, pens & paper, etc. Solid Bag. I haven't tried it's all-weather capabilties, and hopefully I will not have to :) I photograph mostly events and this is great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice backpack This is a very well constructed backpack. It has a waist belt/band that tucks out of the way in a pocket on the bottom. It also has pockets on the bottom to stow the attached raincover and the tripod holder. It has plenty of room for a camera body with a standard zoom attached and then 4 or 5 other lenses including a 70-200 or a 100-400. There is also room for a flash and other accessories. This backpack is a little too large for me because I will only have 3 lenses but it will give me room to grow.
