The JVC GZ-HM340 Everio HD Flash Memory Camera is an entry-level high definition camcorder that records to either a 16GB internal flash memory or to optional SD/SDHC memory cards. In addition to recording HD video the camera also boasts a 24Mbps AVCHD bit rate for even more detailed footage. At the core of the GZ-HM340 you'll find a 1.37MP CMOS sensor that works together with the Konica Minolta lens to capture all that HD video and still images. Features like 20x optical zoom and the Advanced Image Stabilizer help as well. continues as long as there is movement within the area and automatically
stops after 5 seconds of no movement. You can use it like a surveillance
camera, or to capture hard to get scenes, like wildlife
Face Detection and Face Flow Thumbnail
The Face Detection feature on HD Everio camcorders has been upgraded. When shooting, it intelligently detects up to 16 faces then accurately adjusts the focus and exposure. It works for both video and digital stills. And while browsing through scenes in the Play mode, thumbnails can be displayed with close-ups of detected faces so you can easily identify who's in the file
On-Camera One-Touch Sharing Button
The "UPLOAD/EXPORT" button on the camera allows for one-touch transfer of your footage. When connected with a PC, press this button to start data conversion and upload the file to YouTube or export the file to your iTunes library
