The JVC GZ-HM340 Everio HD Flash Memory Camera is an entry-level high definition camcorder that records to either a 16GB internal flash memory or to optional SD/SDHC memory cards. In addition to recording HD video the camera also boasts a 24Mbps AVCHD bit rate for even more detailed footage. At the core of the GZ-HM340 you'll find a 1.37MP CMOS sensor that works together with the Konica Minolta lens to capture all that HD video and still images. Features like 20x optical zoom and the Advanced Image Stabilizer help as well. Other user-friendly functions like Face Detection, Time-Lapse REC, and Auto REC come in handy by taking the guess work out of recording to ensure you get the shot you want.
