The Tactical 30mm Riflescope Ring from Vortex is designed for mounting a 30mm scope to Picatinny/Weaver rails. This single extra high mounting ring positions the center of the scope 1.57" above the mounting rail to offer a lower 1/3 co-witness with the front sight post when mounted to an AR15.
I purchased the 30mm scope ring to put the Vortex Strike Fire red dot on the Springfield KUNA. Works great and allows the red dot to co-witness with the factory sights. Works great! Highly recommend for such applications!
