Constructed for Portability
What sets the JonyJib2 apart is its ability to telescope and nest within itself. It does not require the unsightly and cumbersome cantilevers & stabilization wires that other jibs require. This crane's modularity is built on its lightweight, octagonal, aluminum extension sections, which start at the tail and progressively get smaller towards the camera. The best part is, the arm breaks down to fit into an optional 48" tripod bag.
Bolt-Together
Simple bolt-together design offers the user a fast setup on location.
Power Coat
A durable cobalt black powder-coated finish offers a classy look and high scratch resistance.
Padding
Foam padding on underside of arm offers security for bump protection.
Operational Set-Up
A control center may be over-slung or under-slung for various production applications.

Has anyone had experience front operating the jonyjib jr? I need a short jib to use with my fluid head now, but i like the expandability of the jonyjib. My concern is that if I mount my fluid head to the camera platform, then perform a jib up maneuver, the camera will tilt toward the fulcrum instead of going straight up. If anyone can share experience of this type, I would greatly appreciate it.

When raising the front of the JonyJib Jr, with a fluid heads pan arm, this problem would only exist with really lightweight cameras: I.e. if you raised the camera too quickly the leveling cable could get slack and tilt the camera instead of just raising the arm. If you have a heavier camera this is not an issue. It can be mitigated, for lighter cameras (5 lbs or less), by adding some weight to the camera platform.
