The JonyJib2 Junior is an 8' jib arm for 16mm, SD and HD cameras. This device supports payloads up to 35 lbs (15.9 kg) and the telescoping octagonal boom sections are easily assembled. The assembly is accomplished using a simple bolt-together design--the whole assembly is supported on any heavy duty tripod with a 100mm mount. Need more height? Additional boom sections can be added later, and counterbalance is achieved using standard barbell plates (sold separately). The rear control center allows one- or two-handed control, and may be under-slung or over-slung. Mounts are provided for an LCD monitor as well as remote zoom/focus and pan/tilt controls.

Has anyone had experience front operating the jonyjib jr? I need a short jib to use with my fluid head now, but i like the expandability of the jonyjib. My concern is that if I mount my fluid head to the camera platform, then perform a jib up maneuver, the camera will tilt toward the fulcrum instead of going straight up.
If anyone can share experience of this type, I would greatly appreciate it.
When raising the front of the JonyJib Jr, with a fluid heads pan arm, this problem would only exist with really lightweight cameras: I.e. if you raised the camera too quickly the leveling cable could get slack and tilt the camera instead of just raising the arm. If you have a heavier camera this is not an issue.
It can be mitigated, for lighter cameras (5 lbs or less), by adding some weight to the camera platform.
