Will this fit a Blackmagic Ursa Mini G2?

Will this fit a Blackmagic Ursa Mini G2?
Asked by: Chelsea
Yes it will. This case has interior dimensions of 21.5 x 16.4 x 12.5" while the body for the Ursa Mini G2 is 8.2 x 8 x 5.8". It will fit just fine, however you will probably have to break down any rigging you have on the Ursa Mini depending on how it is set up.

How this compare to the equivalent SKB version? Are the latches hard to open?
Asked by: Derek
Which case you choose would would be personal preference. Both the Pelican 1620NF Case and the SKB iSeries 2217-12 Waterproof Utility Case are extremely durable heavy duty cases with limited lifetime warranties from the respective manufacturers. Some people state the SKB latch is slightly easier to disengage simply due to the position of the trigger release, while others feel the Pelican dual clutch release offers an additional level of security, but I do not think they are hard to open.

question

i have my canon 60D cam with bunch of lenses and the tripod ,, how can i know if this is the best case to hold my equipments ,, especially that there's a foam that has to be cut to fit the stuff inside ?
Asked by: Ahmed A.
Pelican is a trustworthy brand and they make a great product. I own multiple Pelican cases and they withstand the test of time and the abuse of shipping and travel. I mainly store fiber optic gear in my cases and to this day I do not have any issues. Take general measurements of the gear you have to determine that the 1620 case is suitable for you. Make sure you order the case with foam. The foam is pluckable and cutting will not required.I also suggest that you order the lid organizer which will allow you to store camera/lens cleaning supplies, memory cards, etc, etc. You're making a great choice with Pelican. Good luck!!!

question

Weight capacity of a full 1620 pelican?
Asked by: Anonymous
I use this case regularly in and out of airports with test equipment in it. Usually weighs between 65-70 pounds. The case with foam is around 26 alone so I would agree with 40 - 45lbs but I am sure that it will hold more with no issues. It is just how much you are willing to lug around.
