Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Laptop Stand I use this as a rolling laptop stand on location in conjunction with an SKB iSeries Laptop Case with Sunscreen, that I screw onto the centerpost from an old tripod that fits perfectly in the Avenger's 1/1/8 receiver. This is the best little rolling stand I've ever had: incredibly smooth, just the right height, never feels like it might tip over, folds down to a great size for the road. One of my best purchases, hands down -- indispensable for tethered shooting. Would be great in a studio setting, works great on location.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid build - Sturdy and stable The photo for this product is a little deceiving as it looks skinny, but once you get your hands on this stand, it's beefier in real life! It's build really well, with smooth rolling wheels that lock into place with no movement; easily adjustable, and just the right height for use as a monitor stand (the way I use it). You'll just have to purchase an adapter of some sort to use it with a tabletop (I just pulled out the center column from my Manfrotto small tripod, and put it in and it works!). Great value for the money. Definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous Stand First off, I purchased the Avenger Double Riser for this stand, which increases its height. The stand is solid with a capital S. I don't think there is any light/modifier used by the average professional photographer, that this stand could not handle. The wheels are great, and it rolls effortlessly,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rock Solid as always You just can't beat the build quallity of these stands. I bought this one to hold a Tether Tools tray, which it will do and then some. The height was good. But could have been just a bit lower. Otherwise, its an awesome stand, my seventh wheeled stand from Avenger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for large softbox Well made stand. Smaller footprint than A5034, which makes it the right size for a huge softbox, but not really appropriate for a boom arm. I bought the conka bonka's too just it case I need the stand to be taller in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a tethered shooting platform I use this in conjunction with a Tether Tools tray to hold my lap top and other items needed for a shoot such as light meter, card reader, lens cap etc. It rolls freely, is very sturdy and fits my needs to a T.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic stand!! I use this with a tether tools platform for my laptop. It rolls on any surface and is as solid as a rock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product These stands are very reliable and versatile. Along with that they are rugged and work in the many conditions that I have been in since I've owned them. For lighting, they provide an easy way to maneuver large light sources like large sized light soft boxes. I use small, medium, and large video pro lights and the stands support the weight and move easily over rough uneven terrain such as outdoor settings or indoors over smooth surfaces. A surprising feature that I found out (because I purchased two) is that when paired with a track end bracket, the light stands make for an awesome dolly track system for video work. The light stands will work as long as the connection of the bracket fits in to a 1 1/8 inch receiver. If paired with a sturdy, heavy duty rod clamp, the stands can support a camera rig like the dolly and lights for a continuous lighting source without having to do numerous cuts and takes to adjust lights. A must have for people like me (student and independent filmmakers on a small budget)! That makes for a really useful and beneficial long-term solution rather than a costly short term/temporary solution. The wheels are great too. What I like about the stand is that the axels that the wheels are attached are not on a revolving platform so when the stand is in use, the wheels do not trip over things from constantly moving and shifting. This definitely shines when on set and the need for moving from one spot to another, the ride is smooth and the locks are tight. The wheels fold up and down and lock in place so you don't have to worry about things slipping and falling out of place when the stands are in use. Nice thing is that when the locks are disengaged, the axels do not move until you move them to the position that want them in. This is cool because this may prevent injuries such as the axels slipping and clamping onto your hand or fingers. Very thoughtful feature. In conclusion, these stands are versatile for photography and cinematography (all levels from amateur to professional). They are a great buy that I don't regret and they don't break the piggy bank as well. It's an awesome and safe product overall.
