Pyle Pro PT8000CH Overview

The PT8000CH from Pyle-Pro is a professional-quality rackmount amplifier that delivers 8 channels of output, or 4 channels in bridged mode. The amplifier offers independent level controls for each channel, as well as a 5-color LED graphic volume display. Each channel can be set as left/right/mono of the amplifier's Bus/Aux input. Individual protection circuitry is provided for each channel, ensuring quick troubleshooting without affecting other channels that are operating normally.

Standard 5-way binding post/banana plug outputs allow you to connect the amplifier to virtually any sound system. The unit also has a 12VDC control output that allows you to remotely trigger auxiliary devices. A pass through output makes it easy to daisy-chain additional amplifiers.

HI! Since Windows 7 and 10 do not have ...

HI! Since Windows 7 and 10 do not have multichannel output (only 2 channels can be heard), I decided to work 2 8 channel sound cards simultaneously. I am a composer and want to compartmentalize the orchestra into 16 distinct channels using software that would let me do that. Sound source will be taken from their analog outputs. This is why I am looking for 2 8 channel amplifiers. Can this be done with the Pyle? Thank you, John

If your audio interface or sound card has 16 outputs outputs, you can then connect them to the 8 unbalanced RCA stereo pairs on two of these amplifiers, and then send the signals out to passive speakers.

where are the volume controls it looks bare of any knobs it said independant 8 channel?

The volume controls are located on the back. I use this unit as an amplifier for speakers throughout my house, each channel goes to a wall volume control knob first, then to speaker. I would highly recommend adjusting the channel control knobs on back of amp to limit the output to wall unit or the amp will burn them up. Go ahead and get 100 watt wall units if this is what you want to use it for. The amp is adjusted to about 60% output for each channel. I do have speakers also hooked up directly to amp as well (NO WALL CONTROL) , I just have the volume statically set for that zone, as for it would be very inconvenient to change the volume on the amp.
