I have been using this head for years and love it, other than the quick release. Are there adapters that I can use to replace it with an arca-swiss design? I have seen some for the 322RC2. Are they mounted the same way?
Unfortunately, you cannot convert this head to Arca Swiss unless you add an Arca clamp on top this existing plate but would be unstable.

Put it on my Manfrotto befree and cannot get it off. Any ideas?
If you have already unscrewed the three screws on the bottom underside of the tripod's center column and you still cannot remove the Manfrotto 327RC2 Ball Head, it may be the head is securely tightened on the 3/8"-16 screw on the tripod's center column. If you look at the base of the tripod head, there is a notch into which a thin screwdriver or long Allen wrench (hex key) may be inserted. Insert the screwdriver or Allen wrench/hex key into the notch on the base of the tripod head, and use the extra leverage to rotate the tripod head counter-clockwise to remove the head from the tripod. If you are still having issues, you may contact Manfrotto directly either by calling them at 201.818.9500 or by e-mailing them at [email protected].

This grip will be sutable for only mafrotto tripod or I can use it on any others?
The world standard attachment specification for tripod heads is either 3/8-16" or less likely 1/4-20". This head has 3/8-16" so will fit on any tripod that has that screw.

Can I clean the grease on the ball? It makes my handS oily and I cannot Touch my lenses and filters with my hands in the fields.
In my own experience both in the field and studio I find that my hands never touch or really come close to the actual ball and grease. There also seems to be only a thin film of what is probably graphite based lubricant involved and feels quite dry when I have sampled it. Hope this helps.

After several years of use my camera slides down the ball and can't be positioned tightly in place and stay in its place. What can be done about that?
They do wear out over time. Even though you dial up the tension as high as it’ll go, at a certain point it just begins to slip and it’s time for a new head. Test your new one though as I have received new ball-heads which are slippy right out of the box.
