I purchased the mount because I needed a one-piece solution. It is well made and sturdy, but I feel it is a bit overpriced. I also like the fact that it is American made.
Easy to swap out with the original mount plate. Made it possible to use our older Peerless articulating arm wall mount with a new flat screen TV with a different rear bolt pattern from our 11 year old flat screen TV. This adapter plate saved us hundreds of dollars! Reasonably priced and B&H had the best price. Very fast free shipping, what more could you ask for? We could not be happier with this item, as I am with all of my B&H purchases.
Bought this to use on a 55 inch curve tv. We had to buy spacers to accommodate the curve. Spacers are cheap and easy to get so not a big deal for us - and now it works perfectly. This bracket is well constructed. We tend to stick with Peerless brand and have always been pleased with their quality products.
For our office, we did not want to rip the existing arm out of the wall and replace it, so I went looking for an adapter. The arm was just 100x100 and the TV had a single 400x400 attachment. I did not find much. When I called B&H, this was the only option they mentioned. It seemed like manufacturers of these adapters are shy about putting huge TVs on small arms. (Nevermind that the huge new TV was actually lighter than the older smaller one. Such is the way of electronics.) Anyway, this was the only 100x100 to 400x400 VESA adapter we would find and it worked great. FYI Check your TV back first before ordering. If the TV back is not flat, you will need some spacers and longer bolts from Lowe's or Home Depot to get the brackets on. The adapter is obviously flat, and it's important that washers and spacers are used so that the bolts get into the TV without bending it.
Needed this bracket to attach a new TV with a 400 X 400 mm VERSA pattern to my existing wall mount. This adapter bracket is well made and sturdy. I would give it 5 stars except that one set of the nuts provided with the adapter did not fit into the holes in the adapter (I think they were supposed to be metric but were not). I ran to the local hardware store and picked up the four screws I needed - no big deal.
The product fit my Samsung 60 LED perfect however the bolts that come with it were not long enough to bolt to the TV so I had to make a trip the the hardware store to get new bolts.
I bought the adapter plate to mount on my existing Perrless wall mount that I bought 14 years ago. Fit great Tv mounting bolts were too short Called customer service and they shipped out the correct ones for my 65"
Bought these to go along with an entire install of 4 Peerless clamp mounts for I-beams, as well as tilt brackets and poles. Overall, those worked OK however this piece did not fit any of the TVs that we ordered. We tried it on Samsung as well as Visio. This is meant for super OLD actual HEAVY PLASMA displays. All of the TVs we used were LED/LED and did not weigh enough, so the VESA pattern was smaller than 400x400. This will ONLY fit 400x400, so you can't even drill extra holes since it's not a "plate" with extra room. The pro is that this thing is very very heavy and well-made, however won't work anymore for actual applications. I waited too long after the project to return, so I'm stuck with 4 of these. Not sure what I'll ever do with them.
